Carbon Steel Blade with smooth weighted handle and steel hammer end.Marshalltown Jointing Knife with a carbon steel blade that has been heat treated, hardened , tempered and annealed for an even hardness throughout the blade but still allowing slight flexibility for smooth action when spreading compound. A full tang runs through the black polyethylene handle which is resistant to most chemicals and solvents and weighted for the perfect balance. A steel hammer has been built into the end of the handle for hammering and setting nails eliminating the need for a separate tool.
